HEEF Guidelines Consultation Process 2008
The Higher Education Endowment Fund Advisory Board conducted national consultations on the draft guidelines of the HEEF grants program in March and April 2008.
The draft guidelines and draft funding agreement were released for public consultation on 7 March 2008. Comments were invited on the draft guidelines by 4 April 2008. Comments have now closed.
Members of the HEEF Advisory Board undertook national consultations during March and April 2008. Public sessions were held in all capital cities plus Townsville. These consultations consisted of a public open forum, meetings with state and territory government officials, and meetings with Vice-Chancellors. More than 150 people attended the open forums, which included a presentation by Mr Philip Clark, Chair of the Advisory Board, and a question and answer session.
The HEEF Advisory Board received 18 responses to the Draft Guidelines. 16 of these responses were received before the closing date. Responses can be viewed below.
